John's Churchyard. Mr. Rogers, who was 77 years old, was born at Wyoming Farm, Md., the son of Doctor and Mrs. Samuel Rogers, Besides serving the unexpired term of Chief Judge L. Thomas Jones, of the Circuit Court for Howard County, he was at one time superintendent of schools and at another State Senator. Mr. Rogers is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jacob Baer, Mrs. Edward Hammond and Miss Lelia Rogers, and two sons, Ruben D. Rogers and John G. Rogers.
