General Władysław Anders for Iran in 1942 and were awaiting the end of World War 2 in Isfahan. All the negatives were glass negatives which Jala put in boxes, naming them "The Poles, 1942-44". The negatives were found only in the 21st century. Some of them have been published, most remain unpublished as the Jala Estate and their representative's financial expectations exceed what the interested parties could possibly afford.
