The T-form, so named for its single leaf bifurcation spreading into a T-shape, is a robust plant from temperate zones that can grow up to 30 cm (12 in) and has green foliage that becomes redder with age. This form has been described as being genetically stable. 460:, is similar to the T-form, but the foliage is yellower and the leaf typically divides into four terminal leaf points, though it has been known to produce as many as eight leaf points. It was first validly described in an 1819 volume of 531:, has even more leaf divisions, bifurcating several times to produce anywhere from eight to 16 or even 30 terminal leaf points. This, too, was published by J. A. Mazrimas in the same 1976 volume of the 547:. Neither of these names were validly published, but again they remain in use among carnivorous plant growers. A final form, known for producing up to 40 terminal leaf points, is frequently titled f. 1092: 501: 1257: 1262: 1014: 1128: 1267: 1302: 967: 779: 446: 1292: 962: 65: 1307: 1282: 1272: 1110: 432:, commonly referred to as the "T-form", were first collected in 1792 by the French exploration of Australia's southern coast led by 1040: 761: 825: 1216: 878: 230: 866: 1079: 467: 281: 251: 1277: 849: 811: 691: 496: 735: 1190: 1053: 936: 771: 632: 514: 1287: 1221: 1177: 767: 1097: 1133: 1182: 437: 433: 212: 871: 591: 462: 52: 889: 413: 344: 196: 1120: 389: 332: 927: 600: 174: 1229: 1001: 483: 237: 60: 1006: 623: 684: 358:.
