99: 113:(February 11, 1873 – March 11, 1963) was an American educator. He served as Superintendent of Schools of Maine from 1907 to 1917 and in that same role (Commissioner of Education) in Massachusetts from 1917 to 1935. He also served on the faculty of the Graduate School of Education at 222:
