Mr Peter Watt ("Watty"), who was an old boy of St Peter's, and a Christian Brother from 1966 to 1981, taught at the college as a Brother from 1969 to 1972 and in 1980. He ceased to be a Christian Brother in 1981. He returned to St Peter's to teach Mathematics and coach cricket from 1986, retiring in 2016. He remained closely associated with the college until his death on 20 June 2018, in the college's 80th year.
