Pallavicino's first name is not Pietro, a mistake often found even in scholarly literature. The catalogues of all of the major libraries of the world give his first name only as Sforza: for example, the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma; the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana the UniversitĂ
