Line neighborhood. By 1988, Taborian Hall was on the brink of being razed when the Arkansas Historic Preservation Office stepped in and forbade it. In 1991, Kerry McCoy and Arkansas Flag and Banner purchased the building with plans to use it as their headquarters as well as renovating Dreamland Ballroom to make it a viable performance space again.
