listed under "Subgroup II". It would appear that the two branches are synonymous, and merely lacked a human editor to put them together. Subgroup I was also split. I'm going to assume from this that Pauserna and Aurá are simply not overtly classified, rather than independent branches, pending a RS that they actually are independent branches.

The spelling of the words "Tupi" and "Guarani" is nor consistent within the Knowledge. Sometimes they appear with accute accents ("TupĂ­" and "GuaranĂ­") which is the Spanish version, and sometimes without these accents (the Portuguese version).
