Indiana because it was a confluence of several trails, north/south as well as east/west. I added a wikilink to the most important North/South trail of the day, the National Road. I also noticed another east-west trail from New Albany, though I did not add a link because I wasn't very familiar with it. I did notice that the Underground Railroad in Indiana category also has an entry for Madison, Indiana to the south. I also know that there was a historic Native American trail between Greenfield, Ohio (Highland County, Ohio being southeast of Wayne County, Indiana) and Fort Wayne, Indiana, which might have gone through Wayne County. Unfortunately, the historic Indiana trails category is of east-west trails, not north/south, despite historic trading routes across the Appalachian mountains from the Great Lakes.
