The wife is always identified, in print and in the park, as "Mrs. Rudolph Wright" and never by her given name. It is certainly possible that Mrs. Wright named the town after a schoolteacher and the historical park writer erred. Other sources attest to both a "Mary R. Fielder" and a "James A. Herndon"
