I'd be happy to answer any of your questions regarding my color and design choices for the map. Regarding your suggestion that the map should contain more of Mongolia, I disagree. The region was made gray, like all the other regions, to indicate contention between the 3 great powers that exist in

1984. Mongolia was essentially a Soviet client state following year 1924, although it was much closer to Beijing than Moskva geographically. I believe as a consequence of this, it would fall under neither Eastasia's nor Eurasia's define sphere, rather making up land of contention.
