Simply put, notability for wineries is really just something, anything, that distinguishes it as unique or different from just simply being a winery that produces wine in such and such place. It not really a high bar but it is still a bar we should strive for with our wine articles.

Torbreck is one of the featured wineries in a number of his books. In addition, Runrig is very well known and is priced pretty close to a number of First Growths. That's why I believe that Torbreck is of mid-importance as a minimum.
