41:: As it's your template, definitely choose the course you want, but besides the Squamish example you shared, I always see these collections of links at the bottom, not the top. These are all links to draw someone away from the article, so that kind of makes sense. The infobox usually goes in the top right. Perhaps the color could be the same hue but softer? I find the value leaps jarring, but perhaps you don't, and perhaps other editors don't as well.

I see what you mean, that makes sense to me. I will try to turn it into a navbox when I have the time! In regards to the value leaps, to me it just helped me keep the different sections of text separate from each other. I wish the wikitext editor had a way to indent lines of text that were inside
