Failure to Comply is a young four-piece skate-punk band out of Clare, Michigan. Their name was originally the name of frontman Devin Brines's tagging crew. As the crew went no where, Devin began to play guitar and stop doing graffiti. Devin never did graffiti illegally, so he decided to ditch the

Devin and Dexter played together a few times in late 2004/early 2005. After considering the name Public
Disturbance, in May, the foursome decided on the name Failure to Comply. At that time, while Devin and Dexter had played a few times, Seth and Jordon were just beginning to play.
