It is normal for the
Plasticers, as they call themselves, to greet each other in the morning and say goodnight. Most posts are sent around the hours of 6-10 pm, and some in the morning. In addition to this daily posting routine, the five members have also had field trips together.

Plastic Thread is a Facebook Thread. It is considered to be the longest running thread on Facebook, and is mainly composed of spam messages. It was created in June 2008, about midway through the month, and is still going strong with a current total of 15,046 messages.

Taylor created the group, after she, along with four other people, developed the habit of constantly spamming other peoples' threads. The first post reads "WELCOME TO THE ULTIMATE SPAM SESSION. anything is welcome. 100,000 is goal".
