Given that it would be a minefield to separate these out I propose that the umbrella "LGBT" term should be the only one in use. Does anyone have any idea where to start organizing the morass of LGBT categories? One way that I don't think would work is to start with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - there are too many cats, articles, etc that span all four. So what are some other taxonomies that might work? --
