What I did was merely providing more details on evolution thought, adding nothing of mine, but taking some content from another article and providing it to a user who might think, imho, that Charles Darwin just "invented" all of a sudden the idea of evolution by himself, if not having enough background and reading only the article intro. I think it was a blunt mistake to omit some prominent examples of earlier thought on this issue, as is the case with many other scientists in many other articles. I also hope I am having this conversation with an experienced and reasonable wiki author that can understand principles of neutrality and providing users with background and details, out of scope of chanting for national teams.
