30:, also known as the Truceless War, was a mutiny by troops who were employed by Carthage at the end of the First Punic War (264–241 BC), supported by uprisings of African settlements revolting against Carthaginian control. It lasted from 241 to 237 BC and after the rebels tortured 700 Carthaginian prisoners to death was pursued with great brutality on both sides. It ended with Carthage suppressing both the mutiny and the revolt. Rome opportunistically seized Sardinia and Corsica, which was the single greatest cause of war with Carthage breaking out again in 218 BC in the Second Punic War. 108: 98: 84: 50: 65: 132: 122: 74: 39: 43: 87: 101: 125: 17: 107: 97: 83: 49: 135: 111: 77: 53: 64: 8: 88:Battle of the Bagradas River (240 BC) 7: 131: 121: 73: 24: 130: 120: 106: 96: 82: 72: 63: 48: 102:Hamilcar's victory with Naravas 1: 155: 18:Knowledge:Featured topics 136:Battle of Leptis Parva 112:Battle of the Saw 146: 134: 133: 124: 123: 110: 100: 86: 76: 75: 67: 52: 154: 153: 149: 148: 147: 145: 144: 143: 142: 141: 140: 116: 92: 78:Battle of Utica 68: 60: 59: 56: 46: 22: 21: 20: 12: 11: 5: 152: 150: 139: 138: 128: 126:Siege of Tunis 117: 115: 114: 104: 93: 91: 90: 80: 69: 62: 61: 57: 47: 34: 33: 32: 23: 15: 14: 13: 10: 9: 6: 4: 3: 2: 151: 137: 129: 127: 119: 118: 113: 109: 105: 103: 99: 95: 94: 89: 85: 81: 79: 71: 70: 66: 55: 54:Mercenary War 51: 45: 41: 37: 31: 29: 28:Mercenary War 19: 35: 27: 25: 58:7 articles 44:discuss 16:< 40:edit 36:view 26:The 42:| 38:|
