Lots of people have contirbuted to improve this article significantly, but I think we may all be bellringers closely involved with the subject, and I fear it may have become overly esoteric for the general audiance. Can anyone who isnt a bellringer still understand it?? Any other comments/sugestions

Actually, I'm not a bellringer myself, even though I'm responsible for much of the current article (I did a pretty thorough edit a few months ago, including a rewrite of the intro ¶ and a big expansion of the "mathematics of bellringing" section.) One of my principal concerns in this article (as in
