Among other findings, they reported that among a group of 30 medical students, all but 3 of them were able to look up offline Knowledge (XXG) articles through the offline wifi connection on the device with the phones in their pockets. The students used English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole content. The Columbia students observed a case in which one student explained the device to another who had not heard of it, and through this peer-to-peer explanation, the newer student was able to access the offline articles.
