I have to also wonder if some current terms are so obscure or conflicted that it makes sense to use them. For example we use New Zealand foo, because their is no easily accepted actual demonym. I am wondering if some other places is the demonym form actually common enough to justify its use in category names. ] is one place I have to admit that I am not convinced that it is commonly used enough for us to reasonable expect readers to recognize it, and so I think Seycehlles people/People from Seychelles is better. With Nigeria and Niger, I also think a much clear solution would be to use Nigeria People and Niger People or people from Nigeria/People from Niger. The current usage is really imposing on those from Niger a demonym derived from French which is not at all what would be used as the demonym in English, and I have seen writers say this is a case of imposing a French word on English because the names are so similar in English. I think a better solution would be to chose names for those categories that are more clear.
