Recreation Reserve was officially opened by Mr. G.F. Brown, Chairman of Commissioners, on April 13, during the 'Back to Boisdale' celebrations. The Recreation Reserve land was formerly the site of the Boisdale railway station and marshalling yards. The station and line (Maffra-Briagolong)
