However, when it came time to name the station, the residents in the area wanted it named Kegi, after the area in which it was located. It closed on December 1, 2003, when operation of the line was discontinued/suspended between 566: 244:
is approximately 300 meters southwest of Kegi Station. Most of Asa-machi is located on the opposite shore of the Ōta River. The Kegi Civic Hall is located about 80 km northwest of the station.
