Hmmm, they are old but are still reliable sources. I've seen them very often in secondary and tertiary literature. Bowen I use mostly for some narrative stuff (which doesn't really 'age') and for quotes, because his turns of phrase are often rather elegant. Le Strange is still an essential resource
