Suddenly, the government started promoting tourism and tourists slowly started visiting my town, which was otherwise a rural place that did not even used to get a single outsider on a typical day. We locally write the name of the town as “Murdeshwar”, which is the official name of my home town. Railways, Bus Stand, Banks, Post Office and government agencies all use the spelling Murdeshwar.
