Also the single source (ref 2) for the 2 statements on paganism is a dead link and in any case is part of a website that is a mouthpiece for the Russian govt so I propose to prune that too.--

I did not add that section, but I did expand it recently and was planning on adding more information in the future. This may explain why perhaps it looks a bit odd. The reason why no perpetrator or motive is given is that this is simply unknown. I don't read any implication of government involvement,

I tend to agree with you about the "Killings of Muslim clergy section". Regarding the traditional religion, source #1 also confirms that there is a sizeable pagan minority. Even if the site where source #2 is located has some bias, I don't think it should affect its coverage of religion in Abkhazia.

This looks like something that is important enough to be covered in this article- but cannot possibly be as important as the weight it seems to hold given that these events are not part of a continued campaign. The excessive length implies some kind of religious persecution of minorities in Abkhazia
