THIS IS FALSE INFORMATION. THE COUNTY OWNS THE BUILDING and the Mobile City Council's act was strictly ceremonial. Any news outlets that covered it should have clearly said that it's not official until the County Commission (as building owners) vote to make it so. Mobile County Commission never took up the item.
