1455:"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Knowledge (XXG). Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at 1900:: articles from magazines or newspapers (particularly scholarly journals), or books by recognized authors (basically, books by respected publishers). Online versions of these are usually accepted, provided they're held to the same standards. User generated sources (like Knowledge (XXG)) are to be avoided. Self-published sources should be avoided except for information by and about the subject that is not self-serving (for example, citing a company's website to establish something like year of establishment). 1845:: articles from magazines or newspapers (particularly scholarly journals), or books by recognized authors (basically, books by respected publishers). You then reverted this, leaving me to re-format your citation. As an apparently seasoned editor, you should probably know that reverting is a careful business. Although you did little damage here, that attitude can be dangerous, taking little regard for the actual individual changes made in an edit. Please be careful in future, cheers. -- 2044: 1602: 2066: 1906:. Knowledge (XXG) is not concerned with facts or opinions, it just summarizes reliable sources. Real scholarship actually does not say what understanding of the world is "true," but only with what there is evidence for. In the case of science, this evidence must ultimately start with physical evidence. In the case of religion, this means only reporting what has been written and not taking any stance on doctrine. 2523: 2090: 502: 1342: 609: 1691: 703: 1995: 2236: 457: 234: 708: 2297:. If you are causing this disruption unintentionally, it should have already stopped, especially with the ongoing ANI thread. That you refuse to do this is only interpretable as being a matter of vandalism or a matter of incompetence. Either way, you are persistently causing damage to the project, therefore you leave me no choice. 1851:. Knowledge (XXG) is not concerned with facts or opinions, it just summarizes reliable sources.
