2364:, there has been improvement in the quality of Dubai related articles. However, articles on the other emirates seem to be in bad shape. The noticeboard won't attempt to correct these issues, but will provide a central forum and hopefully, promote collaboration among users interested in UAE articles. It can also serve as a central point to arbitrate edit-wars or provide assistance to other editors (Arabic translations, article assessments, peer reviews, etc). One of the ideas that I had in mind for the noticeboard was to create a set of standard guidelines around structuring articles (standard structure for cities, emirates, locations etc). Your thoughts on setting up such a noticeboard are greatly appreciated. Thanks 1476:
the coloring despite the list not being sortable. And no, I don't think a use column should be added; I was actually thinking of removing it from the London list until the Manchester FLC had no negative comments relating to it. Such a section does not seem relevant when a "Notes" column is present, and adding another column to the U.S. lists will crunch the existing ones too much. If the use is really relevant to building height (i.e., "tallest all-residential building"), which is rarely the case, than it should be added in the Notes section. Cheers,
1509: 1885:, which was really only created to be used as a reference for the FTD, into a mainspace list that can be referenced from all U.S. tallest building lists. I for one think that this is a good idea, but do not know how to improve the skyline rankings page - it is outdated and in need of a lot of work before we even considering moving it to the mainspace. Any ideas? I think we'd have to merge the "Other cities" section into the larger table, which could be a tedious task. Any comments or ideas? Cheers, 230:
definitely several that are very close. I was hoping to do some minor work on the Dubai list over the next few days and nominate that list first. Then we can definitely get to Hong Kong and New York City. Oh, and I now completely agee about your anti-expansion stance for the New York list; it would be too long to manage. Do you think we should put a higher limit the Dubai list as well, as that list appears to be getting overly long as well? Cheers,

Hong Kong more notable than the 2nd tallest building in Tulsa solely because of its height, or does city rank play a large part? It would be hard to call without a defined skyscraper notability guideline. As for the user page, I still have my doubts. It looks great, but the whole topic seems too OR-ish to constitute an entire article topic. What do you think? Creating the page would certainly aid the builing list FLs, of course. Cheers,

building lists. Do you think we should bring the London list to current WP:SKY building list standards. Right now, I'd say it is pretty far below them, and could use some improvement (particularly with references, table format and the lead), I've debated changing it or bringing it up on the talk page for awhile, as there are probably many primary editors who prefer to keep it the way it is. relative WikiWork factor. That is not the best number, as we are closer to 5 than we are to 0, and we are very close to 5. This means that the majority of the articles in the project are either stub, or start. That is what we need to change. So, while more severe weather articles are good, we should try not to publish as many stub class, and fewer start class articles.
2486: 1299: 1008: 839: 1372:, Nakheel said "work had been done on site and an official launch was planned in March." In addition to the change in location, many people believe that the height and design have changed. We should probably wait until Nakheel makes its official statement in March, or until Emporis changes the status, before we do anything. 2212:

Sorry that I was absent for so long, but I am finally back now.
