But yeah, the UK really is a bit of a travel hub and a great place to launch into trips to the Mainland, although you've probably found, like me, that it doesn't always work out that way, and you tend to fall into the rat race wherever you live! Money constraints is a big one. London is just so damn expensive, and I'm actually an IT contractor, which is the last thing you want to be doing in this economic climate, but for reasons even more complicated and personal, I can't take on a full time job - just contractual (no, I'm not an illegal!) Yeah, I think I've got your nationality figured out. Thats okay, I won't hold it against you. One of the original reasons for moving here was also of that nationality. ;-) So why London? Well, I guess you covered a lot of the reasons. London is 1183:
