It is not the only route to such knowledge, but it is the most politically supported (being entrenched in US federal regulations). There are many issues pertaining to these subjects which are not currently covered on Knowledge (XXG), or covered sufficiently. I wouldn't mind joining a team of editors involved with researching and writing on this area, even if that team only has two people - but, I wish to complete efforts on the "help me" (crisis-related articles) project first -- see menu at top of my user page.
