HIFK when talkkinga about HIFK (Ice-hockey). They mixe the persons working in the several HIFK clubs. The former chairman of the main HIFK-club (Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna, Helsingfors rf.) sent for several years to the finnish media an explanation about and within the HIFK-clubs and asked the media not to mixe the clubs and persons. No result. The Finnish media talks aboy HIFK, no matter wich sport. The reason to this is the club it self. Today all sections have been seperate and independet clubs with a special agreement with the main club. That´s why all clubs are HIFK and all persons work in HIFK. If you want to be very exact HIFK has won 7 finnish campionships in football. HIFK Soccer rf. has won nothing. Still it is the same clubs football team. Did it make any sense?
