I also had a career in public service at the local level for thirty five years and served on the staff of a member of Congress before that. I think these would be of interest. How then do I get these added to that entry consistent with the protocol and ethics of Knowledge (which I fully endorse.) I welcome your help. My curriculum vita I could supply. I could supply the questionare that I returned to Dan Cardin whose NWI Times piece was the source of the entry. Also, I was not aware that I had a Knowledge entry. I am pleased. I welcome your assistance.

Usually the first edits are just to get content on the page and then the editor works polish it up and track down references. Give the editor time to polish their prose! I think the NPP standard is to give editors at least an hour before considering tagging a new article or draft for deletion. Additionally, it is extremely discouraging for a brand new editor to try to write an article and then immediately be informed that it will be deleted. Mostly, they leave and never come back which is bad for a platform like ours that needs a constant influx of new editors in order to build a lasting project. Please consider my request. Thank you.

Beyond those listed above, there are also higher level warnings for continued unconstructive editing (see the template documentation for details); if previous warnings have been given under that title, add the next level warning beneath the others, within that section. Individual cases must be dealt with as seems appropriate. If the user has not been actively unconstructively editing for a few weeks or months, start a new section. Right now though, I'd like to ask you to please not tag for deletion pages minutes after they have been created. It's not fair to the content creator and it's unrealistic to expect an editor in their first few edits to a page to have a perfectly toned, non-promotional, well-referenced article.
