The water reservoir consists of upper, middle and lower sections. The overall area is 22.5 km (8.7 sq mi) and the reservoir volume is 0.06 km (0.014 cu mi). The depth of water in the reservoir is 8.2 m (27 ft) and the surface area is 20.5 km (7.9 sq mi). The length of the reservoir is 13 km (8.1 mi) and its width is 3.4 km (2.1 mi). The shoreline length is 31 km (19 mi).
