Most of their members are the same, but they are two different bands with different characters: Art Lord & Self Portraits is satirical and for laughter, Future Islands is serious and approaches themes such as suicide. Seemed confusing to have one page of intro on a band with a totally different tone, yet that information needed to exist somewhere to give context to Future Islands.
