In most cases International Masters, while obviously very strong players, are not at the kind of level where they can make a living out of it. (Indeed most Grandmasters are unable to be fully professional chess players, but they do represent the top echelon of chess mastery so I would nearly always think an article on a GM is worth rescuing.) If the player in addition to the IM title is a reasonably well known chess author, or holds a national championship or another similar achievement, the person is likely to be notable anyway. But in this case, the article has no content which shows evidence of that kind of achievement.
