I do not believe that this is advertising, but I did call the Tejano Music Awards office to confirm that she had indeed been nominated for the awards. The conclusion, is that she has been nominated and lost out only to a Latin Grammy Award Winner, Kacy Zavala. She is signed with a legit record company that has spawned hits not to mention they did have Freddy Fender on the label at the time of death.
