243:: I believe that this article should be deleted because I can find no mention of this name in relation to being a Victoria Cross recipient. As per Yar Mohammad Khan I have spent hours looking for information (I do not take deleting articles of this nature lightly as if he is a true recipient the subject is worthy of a mention in Knowledge (XXG)), however, I could find no mention in the National Archives VC register, nor could I find anything related in a Google or Google books search. I have asked the creator to provide proper verifiable sources (not just the throw away general references already included, but page numbers and direct links, e.g. to the London Gazette), however, they have not responded and have not improved the article to allay my concerns. Given that many people have done a lot of hard work correlating information on VC recipients both in the National Archives and here on wikipedia (and elsewhere) I believe that if this subject were a true recipient (or an alternative name of one) it would be documented some where. As it is not, I feel that all we can do is delete the article. —
