Regarding systemic bias, I'm fairly sure that a US TV show with similar impact and audience would be covered (extensively) in En-wikipedia, for whatever that's worth. That said, not many reliable sources in English (search "The Green Hope TVB" and a number of blogs and the like appear, which speak to lingering interest, which suggests but does not prove notability). Obviously a lot more in Chinese, probably sufficient if anyone wants to do some digging. BTW, 2000 is "very old"? I feel
