423:"Mediocre college players don't get drafted into the NFL." Tim Day didn't get drafted into the NFL either. As the article points out, he was an undrafted free agent. But even if he had been drafted, we don't have a policy that assumes notability for the 200+ players who get drafted every year. His college career isn't notable. He broke his team's record for "completion percentage in a single game", but there are hundreds of students who have broken a school record of some sort at the University of Massachusetts, and hundreds of schools where people hold a school record of some sort. Even in a major college football program, holding one of the school's records is not notable enough for a Knowledge (XXG) article. It's a stretch to call his college career notable, let alone "highly notable". He's just another nice guy among millions of athletes.
464:. You are correct. I've addressed that by omitting the information about the Oregon player. Based on news coverage, the UMass quarterback appears to be somewhat notable. I figured better to focus on him. If anyone disagrees, perhaps they could find verifiable sources and create an article on the "other" Tim Day who played for Oregon.

Plenty of drafted players do not end up playing a fully professional game. Being on the practice squad doesn't constitute passing
