we'll have to ponder over how detailed we want to make it at the end of the day? It probably doesn't make sense to document every single change in indicator wording. I guess in general we want to just have the most recent version of the indicators in our SDG articles. Just showing one example. Old: Indicator 13.3.1 "Number of countries that have integrated mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning into primary, secondary and tertiary curricula." New: 13.3.1 "Extent to which (i) global citizenship education and (ii) education for sustainable development are mainstreamed in (a) national education policies; (b) curricula; (c) teacher education; and (d) student assessment."
555:, looking good! What do you mean by "without my user name"? You could create a new article and cut and paste the contents of your sandbox to there. However, I don't think the content is as yet sufficient for a new article. I would probably suggest that you move it to the main SDG article (a spin-off stand-alone article can still be created later). By the way, are you also in Workspace for the edit-a-thon? It's another fun way of interacting with all the other volunteers of the edit-a-thon as well. The link to workspace should be in the e-mail that you should have received from Kiana. 38: 488:, thanks for this feedback. I'll make the change now. Glad you found the list useful! I think the biggest problem is that most people want to jump straight in and don't want to read any instruction manuals at all... (I was a bit like that too when I started!). But even if just 20% of the new editors for this editathon read them, it's already a bonus. 621:
Hi. I am having issues with citations and I watched the YouTube videos recommended on the SDG how to edit page but nothing so far have taught me how to add citations/reference using a mobile phone. Please help! So far, I added {{citations needed}} since I don't know how to do 'cite' myself. Hope it's
509:
I think we should provide some information in the Knowledge (XXG) SDG articles that changes have been made and why (if we have references for that). I guess we should generally try to list the most recent version of the indicators (but also mention about important changes that have been made)... But

ideal? I am not totally sure. If it is, then you would just click on the red link and create it from there. I have forwarded Kiana's e-mail to you. Thanks for alerting me to the problem of mail delivery for this one ! As you were registered as a volunteer you should have received it. Workplace is

thanks a lot for pointing that out, I didn't know that! I think an easy solution would be to rename it to "reception" or to "controversies" - what do you think? I think we need such a section for each of the SDG articles because the UN might praise/glorify things but NGOs or academics might have
641:? However, they were made for the desktop version. I am not sure if adding citations via a mobile phone is all that doable. Let's discuss further but it might be easier to do it in our virtual workrooom (Workplace). Are you in the Workplace group yet? If not, see Step 3 under Registration here: 147:
Reception would work. Controversies has a similar effect of attracting negative opinions instead of a balance of opinions. Alternatively, criticism may be added to the appropriate sections. If there is criticism only on one aspect of sdg, it probably should go in the section of that aspect.

¡Saludos!

and for all your help and moral support during the edit-a-thon! I'll make sure to include that in the final report, and also in the report that I'll post on the event page. Can I link to a page where the 5 participants, 27 new articles and the improved articles are listed somehow?

Consider grouping the Do's and Don'ts under the sub-headings of Beginner and Intermediate. In the current configuration, a beginner has to scroll through the advanced Do's before getting to the beginner don'ts. As a beginner, I've found the points easy to read and follow.

I just noticed that all sorts of changes have been made this year to the indicators for SDG 13 (and also for other SDGs)... I have been using the versions for the indicators provided by SDG Results Tracker and also here the March version:
