discussion and I believe we may end up with many, many categories. The MeSH "official" term is "Inverted Repeat Sequence" so we may want to consider updating the wording of this main topic. I'm going to go ahead and claim this topic for our group. Of the other two groups that have not claimed a topic, neither of them is discussing Inverted Repeat. Let me know if you'd like to do something else. --

presence is obligatory. I would also suggest that we discuss briefly the types of repeats and the differences between direct and inverted repeats. Let me know what you think about my addition to the outline and references. Finally, I am confident that we'll be able to arrange the article in a better order after we agree on the list in the outline. Godwin Ifere

Thanks Godwin. The "article selection rationale" is now on the Group 84D "Project Page". Thanks for the great content you provided. Also, your set of references for the second article were not displaying properly and I found the problem and fixed it. I think the group page is now looking pretty

Hi Godwin, Yes. I replied with a couple of solutions. A space at the beginning of a line will put the text that follows in a gray box and will ASSUME that the text is pre-formatted (with new lines already placed at the correct spot). If the text that follows (in the line that starts with a space)

Hello Godwin. The information on Inverted Repeats is quite large and I'd like to kick-around some ideas for organization. I was thinking of splitting into "DNA" and "RNA" but that is now looking a bit too broad. Maybe we should have the article focus on "selected" (by selected I mean the one's WE

I've checked out the talk pages for the other groups. It is looking like we can probably get either Inverted Repeats or Isomerases. I'm leaning toward Inverted Repeats. It will be good to use lots of illustrations for this and I'm pretty experienced with fixing up (resizing, annotating) images.
86:
Hi Jim, I have added some items to the outline and also increased the references. I am thinking that we should expand the introduction to include; 1)the origin or how inverted repeats are introduced, 2) the conditions that favor its synthesis, 3)where they are most common, and 4)regions where its
56:
Hello Jim, I agree with you that the information on inverted repeats is quite large, and that the topic should be split. However, I am guessing that the inverted repeats would have more significance in DNA than RNA, thus much would be said about it in terms of DNA than RNA. I thus would feel better
71:
Hello Godwin, I agree with your comments. Please go ahead and change the outline to remove the DNA and RNA sections and replace with the ideas you listed. Put them in whatever order you think is best. We can certainly add more after we get started on the actual article next week. Thanks in
253:
Additional thoughts... I continue to lean toward Inverted Repeats. I think we could address the concept for both DNA and RNA and can certainly clear up the controversy currently on the talk page about whether Inverted Repeats are Palindromes. There are several databases we can include in the

select) areas of biological significance with each area being a "section" in the article. This way we could each take "authorship" for a couple of sections. I'm not sure they the areas necessarily need to be related to each other. --
115:
Hello Godwin, I made changes to the outline to match (I hope) the items you mentioned. Please feel free to edit the outline to make more additions/changes as you think are needed. I think we have plenty to go with for the article.
57:
if we abide by what you mean by "Selected" rather than along the lines of RNA and DNA. I am confident that after we prepare the outline, things would straighten out as to where we are going. Thanks. Godwin Ifere

I don't have any special preferences for the two topics we used or for any other topics. Do you have a preference? We might be smart to "claim our topic" sooner rather than later.

Hi Jim, Thanks for going through my remarks. I hope when you are done , we'll be able to arrange the outline to take cognizance of the new input I have made. Take Care.Godwin Ifere

The problem of a "space at the beginning of a line" showed up on the group page for your Summary sections. I removed the spaces and now your Summary sections display ok.
175:
is NOT pre-formatted, you will get a small gray box with one VERY LONG line that runs off the screen. Remove the space and everything will work ok.
