Megatron arranges to freeze her brain for transport to Cybertron, but Scarlett, paying back a debt for Biggles-Jones saving her life, confronts Megatron to save her. Scarlett's bold challenge allows a squad of Autobots to intercept Megatron and free Biggles-Jones. Meanwhile, the Joes smuggle the deactivated Aerialbot

Crystal Ball uses post-hypnotic phrases to unlock Rey's mind and turn him into a fully functioning Cobra agent. But the plan backfires, and with Duke's help, General Rey is able to combat his initial programming and break free from Crystal Ball's control. Crystal Ball is then taken into G.I. Joe custody. 435:. Firefly, with the aid of the Red Ninjas, captures them and holds them prisoner. Cobra Commander however, refuses to pay their ransom, and says Firefly can keep them and the island, as they are all ultimately worthless to him and his newer ventures.
