Hm I'm not sure. "Penultimate" and "adjacent" are not really anatomical terms, I once learned them in my English classes in School as being part of the standard vocabulary. I don't really want to "translate" them into simpler terms, since Knowledge (XXG) wants to provide a high language standard, and
207:"It followed the typical sauropod bauplan, with a long tail and neck, a small head, and a barrel-shaped trunk supported by four column-like legs. The neck of Amargasaurus was proportionally short for sauropod standards, as in other members of the Dicreosauridae." is self-contradictory 198:
As with the above, change "which suggest a habitual position of the snout some 80 cm above the ground" to "which suggests a habitual position of a lowered neck" or some such.

Honestly, when I first heard the term "penultimate", I had to look it up to know what it meant. I agree with you that adjacent is fine, but how about you link to
204:
Just a suggestion, but instead of having references mid-sentence I prefer to order them all at the end of the sentence. I you think otherwise just mention it.

Ah I see: "penultimate" is much more common in Britain than in America (although it exists there as well). What I learned was British Englisch. --
245:, thanks for the comments, you made some very good points, and I think I should have fixed everything by now. Do you have any further comments? -- 137: 133: 63: 86: 118: 37:

110: 167: 192:"Strikingly" should be removed, seems slightly unencyclopedic (sorry I forgot the word I would use to describe it). 319: 305: 276: 250: 398: 315: 301: 272: 246: 177: 393: 259:
I'd say that the rest looks quite good, but you might want to explain "penultimate" (second last).
180:. Overall the article looks good but I have a few comments and there are a few grammatical errors. 126: 17: 357: 161: 216:"It likely showed a horselike" I'd change to "Based on close relatives it likely showed..." 360:
for all measurements, as it shows the conversion from metric to imperial for americans.
286: 195:
What is "mid-height"? within so many meters of the ground? or about even with the back?
201:
I'd move the "for sauropod standards" outside brackets and to the end of the sentence.
213:
Link anatomical terms like convex, sacral vertebrae, adjacent, and dorsal vertebrae
103: 373: 361: 329: 290: 289:. Before I pass the article, I will give it a look for improvements before FAC. 260: 242: 228: 181: 157: 271:
since the "simple Knowledge (XXG)" written in simple English already exists. --

Ok, you know better than me of course, its linked to Wiktionary now. --

After this final suggestion is completed, this article can pass.
220: 210:"It measured" should be changed to "The neck measures". 145: 114: 8: 41: 72: 44: 7: 33:The following discussion is closed. 24: 405:The discussion above is closed. 384: 1: 401:03:38, 17 August 2015 (UTC) 379:20:38, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 367:19:55, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 335:19:55, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 324:18:14, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 310:17:28, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 296:16:46, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 281:15:41, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 266:02:21, 16 August 2015 (UTC) 255:20:10, 15 August 2015 (UTC) 234:20:02, 14 August 2015 (UTC) 187:20:02, 14 August 2015 (UTC) 172:20:02, 14 August 2015 (UTC) 424: 407:Please do not modify it. 35:Please do not modify it. 328:Yah, that makes sense. 287:wiktionary:penultimate 227:That's it for now. 219:Do you approve of 36: 176:I'll get on this 100: 99: 34: 18:Talk:Amargasaurus 415: 396: 392: 388: 387: 376: 364: 358:template:convert 332: 293: 263: 231: 184: 150: 141: 122: 54:Copyvio detector 42: 423: 422: 418: 417: 416: 414: 413: 412: 411: 410: 394: 385: 383: 374: 362: 330: 316:Jens Lallensack 302:Jens Lallensack 291: 273:Jens Lallensack 261: 247:Jens Lallensack 229: 182: 178:Jens Lallensack 131: 108: 102: 96: 68: 39: 29: 22: 21: 20: 12: 11: 5: 421: 419: 404: 395:Dunkleosteus77 370: 369: 350: 349: 348: 347: 346: 345: 344: 343: 342: 341: 340: 339: 338: 337: 312: 225: 224: 217: 214: 211: 208: 205: 202: 199: 196: 193: 151: 98: 97: 95: 94: 89: 84: 78: 75: 74: 70: 69: 67: 66: 64:External links 61: 56: 50: 47: 46: 40: 31: 30: 28: 25: 23: 15: 14: 13: 10: 9: 6: 4: 3: 2: 420: 408: 403: 402: 399: 397: 391: 381: 380: 377: 368: 365: 359: 355: 354: 353: 336: 333: 327: 326: 325: 321: 317: 313: 311: 307: 303: 299: 298: 297: 294: 288: 284: 283: 282: 278: 274: 269: 268: 267: 264: 258: 257: 256: 252: 248: 244: 240: 239: 238: 237: 236: 235: 232: 222: 218: 215: 212: 209: 206: 203: 200: 197: 194: 191: 190: 189: 188: 185: 179: 174: 173: 169: 166: 163: 159: 156: 152: 149: 148: 144: 139: 135: 130: 129: 125: 120: 116: 112: 107: 106: 93: 90: 88: 85: 83: 80: 79: 77: 76: 71: 65: 62: 60: 57: 55: 52: 51: 49: 48: 43: 38: 26: 19: 406: 389: 382: 371: 356:I would use 352:Final look: 351: 226: 175: 164: 154: 153: 146: 142: 128:Article talk 127: 123: 104: 101: 92:Instructions 32: 115:visual edit 59:Authorship 45:GA toolbox 155:Reviewer: 82:Templates 73:Reviewing 27:GA Review 168:contribs 87:Criteria 138:history 119:history 105:Article 375:IJReid 363:IJReid 331:IJReid 292:IJReid 262:IJReid 243:IJReid 230:IJReid 223:edits? 183:IJReid 158:IJReid 221:these 147:Watch 16:< 390:Done 320:talk 306:talk 277:talk 251:talk 162:talk 134:edit 111:edit 241:Hi 322:) 308:) 279:) 253:) 170:) 136:| 117:| 113:| 318:( 304:( 275:( 249:( 165:· 160:( 143:· 140:) 132:( 124:· 121:) 109:(
