My ambition for this list is FLC sometime in June or July (probably the latter, since my day job beckons). I will say that it's been a lot of fun to research this topic and to hunt down hardcopies of CD booklets (information straight from the source... third party websites, in my opinion, simply 344: 388: 253: 536:), I have seen the vertical layout utilized. However, the tables in the discography are quite extensive and, when utilizing vertical alignment, become scrunched, causing many rows to become 2–4 text lines long. An alternative, and a means to acquire more breathing room for the table, is to move to horizontal layout via the gallery template. 585:
The vertical layout is definitely more "typical" for lists in general—but in this case I would prefer the horizontal as you're giving a lot of information in each row, so maximizing the readability when you don't have the pictures next to the table taking up space seems ideal.

A secondary goal of mine is for this list to, eventually, serve as an inspiration (perhaps even a template of sorts) for enterprising editors who write about other symphonists. As a Sibelian, I'm not the right person to provide the discographies for the
100: 35: 491:... undoubtedly, each of these symphonists is deserving of such attention, and the lay community that enjoys classical music would benefit from the informational centralization and democratization that a discography article would provide. 604:
Okay, well that's three votes (1 AYE for Horizontal from Aza24; 2 indifference from Ipigott and me; 0 AYE for Vertical) and two abstentions. Today, Aza24 wins democracy, and I decide to retroactively vote with the winner!

No strong feelings on the matter as long as the table is comprehensive and does not require further editing.--
