It is true that the Scherman source suggested the unpopularity as suggested by the prev version of this paragraph, but Brisman and MartĂ­nez-Delgado both argued the opposite. Translations and the migration by Spanish-Jewish scholars to the rest of Europe made ibn Janah's works universally popular.
