To the extent of my knowledge (as a former pupil) St. Katherine's was an office building (I think). St. Nicholas' site was originally occupied by a hospital, it's true, and later it became part of
Wyggeston Boys' Grammar School. The site is now used as a money-spinner for Leicester Cathedral. The

Peacock Lane, where there is a patch of rough paving and on the outside wall, a plaque commemmorating the site of the hospital.
