but it's all that. The criteria needs to be re-arranged atp because how can be considered a single by just an article from the label that announces a music video release? It's been years and years since music video and single are become wrongly synonimous. IMO it's not correct. So what we have to do with visual albums, all the songs are songs only because the have mvs? To me "Because I Liked a Boy" don't respect the criteria because article from various outlets and a music video are insufficents to declare this stauts. --

singles such as "Skinny Dipping", "Fast Times" and "Vicious" should also add to this. I would think that this should be pretty obvious that it is a single but user 62.98.85.114 keeps removing it as it has no radio date, no digital single, and no remixes. I've gone over the articles for all of the singles from

When a label says something is a single, there's no reasonable doubt it is one. The only question becomes whether it's through radio release, physical media, streaming, download, or any combination of these. Sometimes it takes digging to find those specifics. Regardless, I will say that having a

Hi, all. Would someone who knows how to edit please add Santa Claus Is Coming to Town by DNCE. It's a non-album single on iTunes, and Sabrina Carpenter is a listed artist on it. (It already appears in DNCE's discography on Knowledge (XXG).) Thanks so much!

Here are some examples of similar cases to "Because I Liked a Boy"; post-album (or released simultaneously with the album) singles with no digital single, remixes or radio date that Knowledge (XXG) considers to be singles:

the artist's music calls it a single, I don't see why we're questioning that based on some interpretation of Knowledge (XXG)'s single criteria (which is neither policy nor a guideline, by the way).

music video doesn't always equate to being a single, and video premieres shouldn't be treated as automatic indicators of this when artist and label don't announce they're happening simultaneously.

Considering the label is the one releasing the song and promoting it, it makes perfect sense to me that them classifying it (three times) as a single should make it one. The
