To be sure, the section could be more encyclopedic in tone and better sourced. Hayford Peirce, who may have edited the personal life material -- I haven't checked -- has passed away. He was involved in a murder-suicide in November of 2020, evidently killing his wife before dying by his own hand. In coming months, I will attempt to source the article more completely.
