used a couple of stitch encyclopedias to try and clear up all the meanings of basketweave, continental, half cross and tent stitch as well as needlepoint stitch and petit point, all of which I found very confusing to start with! There seems to be rather heated discussion about the
Continental Tent Stitch and Half cross tent stitch: "The illustration at right is NOT correct..." I don't know anything about these stitches, but maybe someone could figure out the correct stitch, see if the images match, and remove inflammatory
